BAM's programs can be booked as a one-time event or a 6-week session.

Movement

Dance Practice Session

A series of slow and gentle movements to encourage grounding, mindfulness, and self-expression. In each unique session, participants are guided through embodiment tools and gentle mobility practices that are suitable for every-day use. Additionally, self-reflective prompts are provided throughout and after each session.

 

Intended for adults of all abilities. No dance experience required.

Creative
Dance &
Movement

Dance Class Practice

Purposeful movement that is combined with the artistry of expression. Classes encourage experiential learning and skill development through conceptual teaching as an educational tool, which incorporates movement skills with creativity, reflection, and expression. Programs focus on the 15 dance concepts (place, level, size, direction, pathway, focus, speed, rhythm, energy, weight, flow, body parts, body shapes, relationship, and balance) and movement factors, such as body, force, time, and space.

Programs available for both children and adults of all ages and abilities.

Adapted &
Integrative
Dance

Children Dancing in Costume

Following the Rhythm Works Integrative Dance curriculum, this program is a clinical dance program for children of all stages of development with individual learning differences and/or with varied diagnoses. Adapted Dance is specifically designed to use music, intentional movement, and defined rhythm patterns to fully accommodate the body, mind, and spirit.
